Reliance data card setup

Without it being installed I cannot connect to the internet. I am using Ubuntu You need to install two software packages to make the internet connectivity work consistently without breaking. They are wvdial and gnome-ppp The front-end tool to configure wvdial. Then press the Setup button below.

You can install the Reliance Netconnect software in Ubuntu. Just follow these steps and you will get connected:. Connect your dongle and open the drive which you can see in your Launcher. You can see various files including Windows installer etc. These files will be stored in your dongle. Create a folder in Desktop. For easy access, name it as Reliance-Linux. Copy the above two files and paste it into Reliance-Linux folder in Desktop. Now open the terminal and type the command sudo -i.

Next, I installed Reliance mobile connect software for EC Now it detects and initializes EC device.

However, when I click on Connect, it fails with the error "Connection Failed. Please check the device or network connection settings". Then, I had to follow the steps mentioned in the beginning of this post to make the device to connect to internet.

After completion of the demo, representative did not uninstall the driver of Huawei EC After that when the representative left our office, I just tried my old Reliance Huawei and found that the same has been working without any problem.
