I cannot click on anything on the desktop nor the taskbar. The desktop seems to be in the background, since it is "untouchable", but there is nothing you can see in front of it, only the change in the display. Nothing happens if I press the windows button, and I have to close the game through Task Manager, using the arrow keys since I can't click anything.
I have done thins many times, since the windows 8 upgrade and now with windows I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I have tried every compatibility setting there is. I have deleted everything regarding the game from my computer, patches, temp files, history, etc. I've tried different websites, different downloads.
Nothing works. What I have noticed is that after first playing the games, windows tells me they've "fixed" the game, without asking me, to make it compatible.
Still, after that message there seems to be no change to the compatibility, when I open the games properties. I wander if they make a permanent "fix" that I can't find?
